Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: October 8, 2026

Hunter Donia LLC wants every beauty professional to be able to use our websites, join our programs, and attend our events, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to make our websites accessible and usable for everyone.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites. It covers things like text contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, captions, and clear forms.

What We Do

  • Test our pages with automated accessibility tools and fix what they find, including an automated scan of our public pages in October 2026
  • Write text alternatives for meaningful images, and label our form fields
  • Build the site to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
  • Check text color contrast against WCAG AA and fix failures we find
  • Offer pause buttons on moving content, such as slideshows and background videos
  • Publish written transcripts for podcast episodes
  • Build pages that adjust to screen size and browser zoom
  • Review new pages for accessibility as we publish them

Known Limitations

We are not perfect yet, and we would rather tell you than pretend otherwise. Areas we are still working on or that we do not fully control:

  • Third-party tools: our checkout (ThriveCart), podcast and music players, scheduling tools, and embedded social media are built by other companies. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we cannot fix their code. If one of them gives you trouble, contact us and we will help you complete what you need another way.
  • Video: some older videos may not have captions yet. We will provide a transcript or captioned version on request.
  • Downloadable files: some PDFs and slide files may not be fully accessible. We can send an accessible version on request.

Need Help or Found a Barrier?

If anything on our websites is hard to use, or you need content in a different format, please tell us. Include the page address and what happened, and we will work with you to get you what you need.

Accessibility contact

Email: support@hunterdonia.com (subject line: “Accessibility”)

We aim to reply within 2 business days.

Programs and Events

If you need an accommodation to take part in a live call, program, event, or retreat (for example captions, a transcript, materials in advance, seating, dietary, or mobility needs), email us as early as you can and we will work with you on it.

Compatibility

We aim for our websites to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS), screen magnifiers, and voice control. We have not tested every combination, so please tell us if something does not work for you. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets; we fix issues in the site itself.
